I have a four year old daughter.  Does anyone know the minimum age for joining a convent?

I have a four year old daughter too - does anyone know if there's some sort of "Little Women" ready-to-wear catalog we can order from? Crushed velvet dresses, bonnets, high-button shoes, 40 pounds of undergarments....

C'mon folks - all we have to do is persuade the kids that it's "cool", or "da bomb", or whatever, and we'll have them dressing like the Amish in no time ;)

My daughter is also 4. My wife picked up a little pair of jeans at the store that were on sale. Tried them on her when she got home, and we were shocked because they were actually hip-huggers... for a 4 year old. We couldn't believe it. They went back pretty quick, but every time she goes up a size, it gets harder to find clothes that aren't slutty-looking. Unbelievable...

My wife and I have a four-year old daughter as well, and we've discussed the same thing many times. Make-up for second graders is not that uncommon anymore! Some parents have lost control of their pre-teens, just like your Eagles have lost control of their roster! How's Duce and Jerome doing? Oh, that's right, you haven't seen them yet in camp. Sorry, couldn't resist. Hail to the Redskins who won as many Super Bowls last year as Philadelphia ever has!!!! Seriously, we're worried about what its going to be like in ten years. God help our country!

My kids go to a traditional Catholic elementary school. The girls wear plaid jumpers with white blouses, the hems not more than a few inches over the knee.

I wouldn't let them go to a public school "Ho Academy" for a million dollars.

I have a four year old daughter also. I refer to her as being in taste training (in clothes). I REFUSE to let her look like a slut or act like one.

I stunned her summer camp teacher. I was told they were going to do face painting. That I've allowed but when she told them all she had planned I had to put my foot down. NO spray on purple or some other hair color (washes out). NO tattoos. NO nail polish. She looked at me like I was an alien so I told her, she might as well get used to it now ... since she will NOT be allowed to conform to the slut or shock look. She has a higher bar and I don't want her desensitized to things we disapprove of.
