On a bustling Saturday afternoon a silent, generational war started at Abercrombie & Fitch, the teen retail clothing store in the San Francisco Shopping Centre, an urban mall at Market and Fifth streets.
A girl of maybe 15, wearing braces and hip-hugger jeans, fingered a shrunken, see-through T-shirt that coyly advertised "Hottie Brand Cocoa." Her mother, noting her daughter's interest, eyeballed the stack of shirts and grimaced. She moved purposefully on, but her daughter lingered, hope in her eyes. After a minute, she gave up.

Either way she's never having sex. Ever.
Seriously, she'd never get out of the house dressed like that. The way I see some of these 14 and 15 year olds (and much younger) dressed, only speaks to me of the evils of the Boomer generation. It's the "do it in the road", nihilistic boomer generation of parents that are the ones letting their daugthers dress this way.
The collapse of our society is now in free-fall.
Like George Carlin, I intend to just sit and watch it circle the drain.
Any parent that would let their daughter dress like a slut deserves it when she comes home knocked up and asking them to raise the kid.
Our society cannot survive this.

I wouldn't let them go to a public school "Ho Academy" for a million dollars.
When my daughter was 2, her aunt bought her a leather mini skirt. For a two year old. A leather mini skirt. Lost on me was the fact that it was "cute". Needless to say that mistake won't be repeated again. Honestly, it turns my stomach just to think about it. Like looking at child porn.
(BTW- what goes 10-6, 8-8, 8-8, 7-9? LOL, you KNEW I'd get that in there.)
Could be some sleepless nights ahead with a little girl. I'll enjoy the time while she's young and teach her little brother to snitch on her.
(off topic [again]- not worried about J McDougal yet. C. Simon signed the morning of our first pre season game his rookie year and started every game that year. DL is easy to pick up. Pretty much any other spot can be a big problem though. Staley's badly over playing his hand. Buckhalter is healthy and looking both quick and strong and Westbrook is ready to make further contributions. Staley should do everything he can to garner whatever playing time he can in order to sign a better deal NEXT YEAR, ELSE WHERE.)

Our shop, Love Hate Tattoo, uses state of the art sterilization techniques, including all autoclave sterilization, all disposable, and single use tattoo equipment including needles, ink, inkwells, disposable razors, etc. We are careful not to cross-contaminate anything, and take sterilization very seriously. We make people fill out a release form, saying they do not have any blood diseases. As far as we know, we have never had a single infection, and we intend to keep it that way.
We don't do "tattoo parties" or do tattoos anywhere other than our sterile-friendly environment of the tattoo shop. We use all autoclave sterilization for our gear, and have our autoclaves spore-tested on a monthly basis. Customers are free to inspect them if they wish (but most folks don't even know what an autoclave is!).
You will find a lot of "scratch shops" commonly known as "street shops" that do not take pride in their sterilization techniques or who do not practice sterile procedures. Besides our experience in the field, and superior artistry, that is what sets us, as a "custom shop" apart from these "street shops".
If you are interested in getting a tattoo, make sure you go to a reputable shop, not just some place your buddy got a tattoo. No matter if you're friends with some guy who does tattoos, be wary!!! Ask to inspect the autoclaves to make sure they're in proper working order. Ask them if all of their gear is single use, and sterile! Watch them do tattoos, and make sure the artists are using all single use, disposable items, wearing gloves, taking them off and replacing them with new ones when they use the phone, grab a marker, etc.
Most importantly, don't go "looking for a deal". Folks will go and spend $200 on a winter coat, but complain about a tattoo costs $150. The average tattoo will run you roughly $100 per hour. I can most likely give you a reference for your area if this is something you (or anyone else) is interested in.
take care!
Two questions: 1) What goes "Twelve and four CHOKE! Twelve and four CHOKE!"? 2)How do you spell Lombardi Trophy? Oh, sorry, you're from Philly! My bad! ;>) The Skins receiving corps is deep and fast, and our offense overall is going to be one of the fastest in the NFC, so you're going to need to put Jerome on roller skates!! I'm going to our training camp on Friday, so I'll try to get you some winners' autographs! ;>) Seriously, though, is there a division with four defenses as good as the NFC East? All four have top-ten potential. Should be good smash-mouth time this year! Best of luck (as long as you all lose).
Sick! Sick! Sick!
My kids go to a traditional Catholic elementary school. The girls wear plaid jumpers with white blouses, the hems not more than a few inches over the knee.
The Philadelphia Public Schools instituted something very similar to that a year (maybe 2?) ago. Reportedly, it's helped in areas of discipline and attendance.
Attendance? I have a friend who was a Phila P.S. teacher and related to me a story about one of her students who missed THREE days of school because he couldn't find an outfit to match his new sneakers. Amazing. (not that I'm suggesting he'd have missed all that much or gleaned anything from what was being taught anyway).
