The fact that they are not in the Rock Hall of Fame is, to say the least, puzzling.

It's not puzzling to me. Rush isn't in there because it's all political. When Geddy Lee was asked why they weren't in the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame, he said "We're too young. Check with us again in 20 years."

Rush's brand of libertarian/liberal atheism should be a surefire sell. Don't paens to big gov't always warm the cockles of such comittees ("Closer to the Heart")? Curious. I guess they have to be around for 20 zillion years or die before they get in.
