IMHO, Rush is the greatest band around. They are each virtuosos with their respective instruments and their lyrics are great. I especially enjoy their Ayn Rand inspired tunes like Anthem, 2112, Freewill, Something for Nothing, and others.
I can still never get over being amazed at music groups in the sixties and seventies who's work was inspired by classic and modern literature. Today's music is inspired by nothing.
