That is our fault.

Ain't my fault unless you fault me fer not killin 'em

We need to let them know they are accountable

They know, but they don't care - There are no consequences for evil actions by bureaucrats. Remember when that vile (description deleted) Reno "took responsibility" for the Waco massacre? What happened to her? Nothing. In fact there were a substantial number of people in Florida who wanted her to run for governor. In New York, she probably would have been elected. She should run for mayor of NYC. She'd be a sure thing.

"It would Have to get past the House."

And you don't think that can happen? The Mediscare drug benefit bill got past the House. So did CFR, the "Patriot" Act, the education bill, the agriculture bill, etc. The House is not immune to making bad, very bad and dangerous decisions, especially if the media pressure is overwhelming.

I would feel much better if Bush had come out promising a veto if a new AWB was sent to him. Maybe then, the chickensh** Pubbies would have the backbone to stand and fight for the Constitution, instead of running away and wetting their pants in the corner. But as it is, the Stupid Party won't even dare to sneeze if they don't know in advance that Bush would be waiting to say "Bless you".

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!

How to do so in a manner that will get the point across inarguably, unspinnably, and memorably?

Several suggestions have been floated on FR in years past. Such conversations are no longer welcome here and should rightfully be taken elsewhere.

I was thinking more along the lines of voting in the same asshats time after time, but your sentiment is reciprocated.

That needs to change. It's up to us.

Right, no eye protection.

And look how much fun he's having. He must hate to think that there are good Americans enjoying themselves that much without the help of Hollyweird.

Don't these fools realize that if they ever get exactly what they want, they will in all likelyhood, get exactly what they deserve?

Advocates of 'final solutions' don't fare too well in the judgement of history, do they?

It was his staffers that did the dirty work on Clarence Thomas--and I mean "dirty." Lies, distortions, exaggerations, and other usual Democratic Party techniques.

Sonia Wills, mother of bus driver Conrad Johnson, the last victim of the Washington, DC-area sniper attacks

OK... Y'all have to admit that she's got a point. Her son would be alive today if only we had a law against felons stealing firearms.

I was thinking more along the lines of voting in the same asshats time after time, but your sentiment is reciprocated.

Two things about voting

  1. Very few are affected by voting - look at federal grabbermint. There are what, 17 million of 'em? How many are elected? Only 541
  2. Stupid voters want jackboots on their faces. Look at $hitholes like NY and MA. It wasn't an accident that upChuckie, Hitlery, fat Teddy and Kerry got elected there. Their philosophy accurately reflects the mindset of the majority of the people who live there. Good ol tyranny of the majority. Winner takes all. In this case your money, and your rights. Homeland Uber Alles. To which New Yorkers mostly say "Baaaaaa"

That needs to change. It's up to us.

We're back to the how again.

PSP6 is a good proggie

I recently took them up on their 1/2 price upgrade offer and went from v6 to v8. You're correct - it's a great program. It would have to be for a notorious cheapskate like me to spend the bucks.

Its time for the Second Amendment people to hold Bush's feet to the fire too.

He said he supported EXISTING gun laws. This law EXPIRES on Sept. 13th and is no longer existing. ERGO, he should NOT support.

When you write Bush, make sure you cc his later ego, that idiot Carl Rove, who apparently feels a gun in your hand is less dangerous than several million illegal aliens sneaking across the Mexican border.

Both Lautenberg and McCarthy are lunatics on the gun issue.

Lautenberg is on record as opposing the Second Amendment and supporting total disarmament of the public. McCarthy is a one-issue airhead who sneaked into office and I doubt if she ever even read the Constitution.

halfprice upgrade???
I have heard through the grapevine that 8 is a HUGE improvement over 6, unlike the 5-->6 upgrade.
True?
