... loyalty oaths to the Constitution ...Doesn't mean squat. Kongress, Pres take oaths to uphold the Constitution and usually violate them within 24 hours. Once you give politicians and bureaucrats power over your life, used toilet paper is worth more than their promises. The only thing that worries 99% of 'em is the 2nd amendment* (which is why they're trying to get rid of it, of course)
*Henry Waxman's, one of the many anti-gun Nazis from the Peoples' Democracy of Kalifornia, fear of .50 cal rifles is that they could puncture a limousine - what's that tell you about Waxman?

any other ideasYes, but none of them fit to print here, but combine "gay", "action", "SS uniform" and maybe "dead goat" and you'll have some of them.

Make violation of that Oath of Office a capital offenseOK with me, but how do you enforce it when the government that violates it is the one that claims to have the only moral justification for the use of force?

You really think the Piranha's wouldn't eat their own?Maybe, but not for anything significant. For example, when was the last time you heard of a cop being charged for killing an innocent person?* If they won't eat their own for somthing like that, they sure won't for something as abstract as violating oath of office. I can remember hearing of one case where someone successfully sued a sheriff for improperly denying denying a carry permit, but by the time it was finally resolved both the plaintiff and the guilty party were in their late 70's.
*Like maybe never. Now does this meant that cops never kill innocents, or does this just mean that they get a free pass for illegal and immoral behavior because they're government bureaucrats?

That is our fault. We need to let them know they are accountable. "We the People..." are the Rulers in this country. Time to remind our "Civil Servants" of that fact.

The obvious question: How to do so in a manner that will get the point across inarguably, unspinnably, and memorably?
