That is SO funny! When I was in Kindergarten we performed
Little Black Sambo. I played the lead role (the beginning and end of my acting career). We did it in blackface! I wore jet black leotards and tighty-whities to remain 'in character' while disrobing to appease the tigers. It was never intended as a racial slur. Never even crossed anyone's mind in those days. Times have changed.
