Rush Limbaugh is my friend.I don't actually know the man, as a neighbor, or relative, I've never even met him, but I consider him a friend no less. If the definition of a friend is one that appears to have just the right advice when all seems lost, well, I have no friends that fit that mold better than my buddy Rush.
Rush has been a reliable friend during some of the most traumatic periods in my life. His insight and humor, have brighten up some of the darkest days in my countries history, and I can't thank him enough.. He never left us when the going got tough and it got plenty rough in the past 10 to 12 years.. I don't turn my back on my friends at the first sign of trouble, or even the second, and I will not do that to my friend Rush in his hour of need.
If friends are there when you need them, WELL, who has done that for me more than Rush Limbaugh.. As a matter of fact, there have been times in the past 10 or so years when if it wasn't for Rush Limbaugh I don't think I could have functioned without screaming out loud. How could I have weathered the lies, corruption, treason, and covered up in the main street media, without my friend there to counter them, and reminding me that I wasn't alone in outrage, it was perfectly normal to feel disgust, or it wasn't in my patriotic background to doubt my countries greatness. My pain was understood by Rush, and I have no problem understanding my friend's pain now!
Rush Limbaugh shares more of my opinions than just about anyone else in my circle of friends, and his advice seems to clarify and encapsulate my feeling perfectly. His patriotism and love of our country is the model of the American Spirit, and his tenacity is the goal that I set for myself and my family.
So, Rush what can we do for you? What advice would you suggest we do if it were the other way around.. Of course I know, my friend and I almost always agree.. you would say, I'll be there for you Carlo, I know you can do it, I have faith in your character.
Well, I'll cover your back my friend. You can count on me to be there when the going gets tough, and I suspect it will get a lot worse than it is now.. so what, thats exactly what friends do for one another? You are my friend, my Hero, not my God, and I won't hold you to that standard.. my human friend..

Any day is a good day to listen to Rush. But how great was his show the day after the 94 elections?
He played James Brown's "I feel good" to start off the show.
