Frontline (Season Premiere - 10/9): "Truth, War & Consequences"
PBS/WGBH - "Frontline" ^

FRONTLINE traces the roots of the Iraqi war back to the days immediately following September 11, when Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld ordered the creation of a special intelligence operation to quietly begin looking for evidence that would justify the war. The intelligence reports soon became a part of a continuing struggle between civilians in the Pentagon on one side and the CIA, State Department, and uniformed military on the other-a struggle that would lead to inadequate planning for the aftermath of the war, continuing violence, and mounting political problems for the president.

PBS strikes again...
Just damn.
If you want on the new list, FReepmail me. This IS a high-volume PING list...
[As i mentioned, the B/C & JD! lists are going to float into and out of whack over the forseeable future, while I try to cobble a rig back together for myself. My apologies for any incovenience or misunderstandings in this time frame. New signups/removals may be flaky in this time-frame as well; please bear with me, and keep in mind you may have to FReepmail me more than once for me to get it done. Thanks again!]

FRONTLINE traces the roots of the Iraqi war back to the days immediately following September 11 The "roots" go much farther back than that.

Total hit piece. I've already emailed FOX early this morning, to let them know what I thought of this bozo and that I certainly wouldn't be watching his "work".

Clarify--I emailed FOX because he was a guest on Fox & Friends this morning and has also been on this afternoon.

I'll pass, thanks.

An Interview With Bill Clinton (long)
Bill Clinton: "... we knew when we did the bombing in '98 that we hit all the known or suspected sites based on the intelligence we had, from all the people that were doing that work there. we knew at the time that we had set his program back a couple years. But sooner or later in the millennium the new Administration, whether it was Gore's or Bush's, would have to take this matter up again."

Yes, David did try to dig the overall flavor out of him, but John would have been more aggressive - much more so :-)
To: mystery-ak
He admitted in his interview with David Asman that he had indeed left out the good news from Iraq. I wouldn't watch this piece of crap show for anything.
Instead, I will be watching the RAT debate on CNN at 8:00 EST. LOL!
To: Wait4Truth
Wait4Truth, you must be a real glutton for punishment... Don't you know that the ALCS is on TV? Why would anyone waste any time watching those unwatchable Democrats (or that unwatchable PBS Frontline) when there is decent baseball on the tube? Just wonderin'. Go Cubbies!

I saw an ad for this flipping the channels yesterday. My immediate thought was, "there they go again". I'm so proud that no one I know donates to PBS anymore and hasn't for years. They couldn't possibly do a political program that would state even half of the positives that have occurred there since our military removed a vicious and lying dictator and his crude sons. Who has time for "Accentuate The Negative" programming such as that?

Well, I heard some of them are going to go after Wesley Clark tonight in addition to their normal bashing of President Bush. Since I detest Clark, I thought I might get some enjoyment out of it. OK? :-)
