“So, without any faith whatsoever...."

Praise God, I really needed this. I've been beating myself up for not having enough faith.

Is it possible that our unbelief is keeping God from performing many mighty works in our cities?

The Arab's have dropped over five thousand mortars on the Jewish suburbs of Gaza and have killed less than a dozen people. The "settlers" have a strong faith in God.

It shows. I myself have seen a man with a short leg being prayed for, and I saw the leg grow before my eyes. Does this story count? It was in an American Church. God is real.

Greater things we should be able to do through Christ because He has gone to the Father.

Yes. There are unrelated reports from the Gospel for Asia missionaries where these sorts of miracles are happening - even to the raising of the dead to show forth the power of God's love to people formerly in bondage to all sorts of false religions.

We in the "rich" nations do not realize that we are really POOR in everything that matters. We are poor and blind, lame and halt as written in Revelation and need to ask God for His pure gold and eyesalve for our blind eyes so that we may see the Truth. . and we need to strive to properly love the Giver for Himself and not just the gifts He gives.

We all do, my FRiend. satan LOVES to whisper those things in our ears. We all have a MEASURE of faith. Sometimes we don't use it enough, but we do have it.

I've seen that, as well. I've prayed it over myself at times and seen my leg or arm grow out an inch or two. It's fascinating. I saw one badly crippled man quite a few years ago at a Full Gospel Retreat in Lake George, NY, begin to walk after that kind of prayer. It wasn't happening all at once, but day by day he got better. Interesting.

I know it happens, especially in poor countries where all they have is their faith. It's tough to reach people in America because we are so prosperous and doubtful about such things. FAITH is needed, not scorn. Argggh.

Hi O is the AC

Sorry so slow in answering.

Faith ... hmmmm ...

Me and my faith ... well, I do try to hold up the shield of faith to quench the fiery darts of the enemy ... and I KNOW MY REDEEMER LIVES ... and I try to remember to "take it to the Lord in prayer" ... and I ask Him to help my unbelief.

I am NOT a super Christian. From the time I first heard the gospel till when I read the gospel tract left in a restroom and prayed the prayer on the back and was instantly changed into a believer was more than two years. I had grown up in a non christian home, so hearing the gospel was a new experience for me. But that stayed there at least two years without my doing anything about it. Then, as I said, I found a tract in a public restroom, read it, prayed the prayer, and I BELIEVED. I was changed, and that not of myself, it was the gift of God. I can't explain it. 'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear the hour I first believed.

And I know the Lord is in my life, here with me, everyday. I am AWARE of that.

So, in those ways, I do have FAITH.

However, thinking back, the two times I have been present when someone died, I did not pray for them to be raised from the dead. That did not even occur to me. I wonder what might have happened if I did?

So, if that's what you are referring to as "faith", I'm with ya. I can't say if I have "enough" faith either.

But at any rate, don't beat yourself up.

Blessed Friday evening to you. It's just now sundown here where I live.

Hi A in I,

Thanks for writing. I agree, God is real.

Glad to hear so many Israelis have been spared during the attempted genocide of their people. May the Lord keep protecting them forever, till the end of time.

I know God has done good work in my life and others' lives in many different ways.

Matthew 10:8

"8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give."

I know that's in Scripture and would love to be used of the Lord that way.

Blessings,

Mark 16:15 - 18

15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Mark 16:15-18 - Amplified - 15And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach and publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole [a]human race].

16He who believes [who adheres to and trusts in and relies on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] and is baptized will be saved [[b]from the penalty of eternal death]; but he who does not believe [who does not adhere to and trust in and rely on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] will be condemned.

17And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;

18They will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well.

Please do not disregard this PROMISE of Jesus. Note this was directed to the disciples, regarding those that they saw converted. See Mark 16:16 - This is a discription of the people the Apostles will interact with. Search the scriptures, and see were these signs described and attributed to followers of Christ?

Bumping to the top (BTTT).

All, here's a site of interest, just FYI

http://www.fireandglory.com/about.htm

EXCERPT: 'A CALL TO THE NATIONS' Dan Duke heard when God spoke to him many years ago about taking the Gospel “into all the world.” Under his leadership, the ministry has reached into hundreds of cities around the globe.

Each year the Call to the Nations team ministers to tens of thousands of people including hundreds of church leaders. Their meetings are noted for supernatural manifestations of the Holy Spirit including manifestations of healing and miracles and a deep work of the Spirit in the hearts of those present.

Though the meetings are often large in attendance, Dan and Marti Duke have a particular inclination towards personal ministry, including the laying on of hands. Thousands have testified of being profoundly touched by a new impartation of the anointing as hands have been laid upon them.

The mission of the Call to the Nations team is to produce a biblically literate people who apply the scriptures to their lives and are worshippers of God. Whether it be domestically or internationally, the ministry strives to fulfill their mission by adhering to the core values and vision given to them by God. The Core Values and Vision are included in this reading to clarify purpose and integrity.

Anyone who attends a meeting with A Call to the Nations should come hungry and thirsty for a fresh touch of God. They will not be disappointed.
