NOW THIS:
urgent request; Meri Burlingame; Jul 17, 2005
Dear Renewed Hope, I had a note from a very responsible subscriber tonight that works with the FBI by contributing "prophetic insight." She indicated that
there is an urgent need for prayer for our borders TONIGHT!!
Please, if you are up and get this Saturday night, I trust you might have been selected of the Lord to share in this.
Meri

Prayers out,..that His will be done in all things.
Thanks.
And, from my perspective, I pray that all who are Led of The Spirit pray in Christ's Spirit in whatever spiritual warfare way this situation requires.
Thanks much.
Perhaps you are technically correct.
However, I think of resuscitations as having to do with folks who are still showing some signs of life within their bodies--they are not, per se, stone cold dead.
A good many, if not most, of these folks in this study were like Lazarus--stone cold dead for hours and even longer than a day in a number of cases.
Resuscitation seems a bit weak of a word for such 'bringing back to life' events.
I don't think we'd tend to call Lazarus resuscitated, would we?
That was inspired, indeed.
Like my wife remembered this morning: I was an emaciated skeleton, with long, white hair, crawling around on the freakin' floor on hands and knees bellowing at that company to take that expensive wheelchair back--cuz i was gonna walk!!!! [LOL, starting to jog now, crazy, man=-)]
That was four years ago, Quix. Wife and I moving into house twice the size we are in, with five times the land, Aug. 1st.
A man, who four years ago:
1. Was on a gurney in the "refrigerator";
2. Had the sheet over his nude body--and face;
3. Had a toe-tag with name, time and date.
4. Had his death certificate filled out.
[Quix, saw a UFO 2 weeks ago. I get up early to work, so it was 4/4:15 when outside i saw a bright light about 10 o'clock high. It was linear and bright then "shrunk" and disappeared in less than a second. WOW!!]
I agree.
I believe we are going to see lots of this sort of thing.
Some even with children praying merely a sentence.
Thanks for your kind post.
Trip was good. Learned more about my family background.
Off again on Wed to AZ to see my blood dad for a week or 2.
Hope your weekend has been good.
Thrilled with your testimony.
Thanks much.
Nothing like verification fromt he [former] corpse's mouth! LOL.
Congrats on the new home.
Wow a double whammy post--a UFO sighting. What did you feel in your SPIRIT at that time?
Thanks much,
Like I said,I was working at that hour--taking a break--so didn't give too much thought as seen UFO's before, and flown over Bermuda Triangle, and so on.
Again, it was linear, like a pen lying on a desk, about the space of holding left thumb and forefinger apart an inch with left arm extended @ 10 o'clock.
Then that light just contracted--shrunk--in less than a second.
Interesting.
Thanks.
So, it must have been a fairly big one.
Have a blessed week.
Lazarus died again
QUITE SO. Lazarus died again.
And, it's reasonable for that reason to somewhat reserve RESURRECTION for that final utterly transforming RESURRECTION.
Nevertheless, we tend to say AT LEAST that Lazarus was RAISED FROM THE DEAD.
rususcitated is just tooooo weak a term for what's described in this research.
I can see from the dictionary meaning that coming back from the dead would be considered a resurrection and not a resuscition.
I was viewing it from a strictly theological view.
God is in charge of life and death.
We have a 98 year old woman in the church who suffers from dementia, extreme frailty, and immobility.
But it was a young woman (35 or so) with a young family, apparently healthy, who passed away last year. The autopsy never provided a clear answer.
People ought always to pray and never faint, because God is in charge of life and death.
Sure not in mine. People have no clue as to what God is doing (even me) across the world right now. So many naysayers, so little time (smile). Love, Mxxx
And there's something wrong about trying to get a message across in a book? Some of you FReepers haven't got a clue! Cheez.
I know at least three people in my own church who have prayed that way, one for a child who died in an accident, another for a sister who died of cancer, and one for another child. They truly believed God COULD do it. He chose not to, but their faith was strong that it was possible. I think so too, but I'm not sure that the U.S. is experiencing many miracles because of unbelief.
Naturally. Resurrections don't mean we won't die when the time comes. It's just a second chance, I guess.
No sweat. I prefer the Bible as ref even over the dictionary, of course!
I just couldn't feel that resuscitation was a hefty enough term for what God has been doing in these cases.
Thanks for your kind msg.
