**Pope Benedict emphasizes the spirit of adoration that has permeated the renewal of Eucharistic faith and piety fostered by the Year of the Eucharist. Specifically, he said he was moved at “how everywhere in the Church the joy of Eucharistic adoration is reawakening and being fruitful.”**

Our parish Mission during Lent is going to focus on Eucharistic Adoration. Hopefully we can move from once a month to once a week or even more often. I think we will have to take small steps, however.

I've just come from church so disgusted it's unbelievable.
Too much to type here, but I'm in tears. Eucharistic adoration? Hah! We just got a new priest who is changing everything. Our church is now just like the local university church with it's 'new' music and eucharistic ministers in their street clothes (some of the look like they've just come from grocery shopping). Until recently, the ushers came forward and along with the rest of the church, kneeled in adoration before the elevation of the Lord in the form of bread and wine. Today, that changed. It may seem like a small thing, but to me it symbolized another chip in the breaking down of the Church. How far do we have to go before His church is completely unrecognizable as the Church our fathers passed down to us?! Wednesday is Ash Wednesday, and we don't even have Stations of the Cross scheduled on Friday!!

Sorry for the rant! I'm hurting terribly from this. At this point, I fully understand why some choose to join an SSPX Church.

Unfortunately, I don't see Eucharistic adoration in my parish once a month, let alone weekly.
