I worked at accompany with 3,000 employees. About 10 were from a fundamentalist church. Their preacher insisted that work was the place to convert people. He told them to get in our faces and push hard. They were so obnoxious that the company said if there was one more complaint they’d all be fired.

Here’s the thing, they were all practically illiterate. I actually read the Bible. They only read their pamphlets and the pamphlets were bizarrely off base.

If they had held a come-all barbeque they’d have got 50 people to show up. But their formulaic approach was offensive and made working at our jobs practically impossible. The workplace is for work and nothing else. If you want to proselytize, be clever and get them to come to you by using food or recreation or a dance or a band.

You and I both know that is not where this is headed.

And yes, the work place, the mall, everywhere is the place to tell people that Jesus saves.

That aside, there are some people who do not follow the scripture on sharing their faith...namely the guidelines laid down in Luke 10 and Matthew 10.

But the bottom line here is: This administration doesn't want Christians to share their faith. I will wage a dollar to a penny that Christians will be singled out rather than Muslims. Doubt it?
