Certainly this POPE is concerned for the POOR, but that does not mean he will relax on what Catholics must stand for and the morality of the Church...

Isn't the National Catholic Reporter the Liberal Catholic Newspaper?

I believe the one that is now part of EWTN and abides by Catholic Church teaching is the National Catholic Register.

I get these two CATHOLIC newspapers confused.

Being the Vicar of Christ is NOT a popularity contest. Anyone who thinks it is hasn't a clear idea of what the tasks of the Vicar of Christ are.

I've always kind of thought that the more the press and such COMPLAINED about the Pope and his insistence on Christ's morality, the better a Pope he was.

I would be SCARED and WORRIED if the media liked him.
