Nevertheless, I have well-founded hopes that the concerns expressed in this book will be taken seriously by the new pope.

The real question is will the Catholic Church be able to save the apostates?

Well lets just see what Jesus Himself had to say about it:

Matthew 16:
And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

Next case.

Can We Save the Catholic Church?

Jesus Christ promised that His Church would prevail until the end of time, even against the gates of hell.

For any "Christian" to ask a question like this is the height of hubris and Satanic pride.

I saw the author repeatedly say “radical reforms” are needed. I’m sorry but none were mentioned. If by “radical reform” he means to allow abortion and homosexual marriage, I’m sorry but those 2 are off-limits.

He’d do better to worry about his own salvation. He was one of the worst heretics involved in kidnapping the “spirit of Vatican II.” And evidently he hasn’t learned a thing.

Not so, FRiend. Millions of born-again Christians believe Rome is not His church at all. We believe the church is the body of all believers throughout history, those known in the Bible as “elect.” We have no pope because Christ is our head. We have no need for a vicar, because we have the Holy Spirit. We recognize no earthly “Holy Father” because we have God the Father. We have no Mother or Queen of Heaven because Mary, though used by God in a special way, was a sinner saved by grace just like the rest of us. We believe Rome is merely organized religion, apostate Christianity, with a misunderstanding of God’s way of salvation. And some of us believe it is described perfectly in Scripture as Babylon the Great. At a minimum she bears a striking resemblance.

Now, you can say I am full of hubris and Satanic pride for telling you what I believe. Think what you will of me, that’s fine. The truth is I take no joy in saying any of it. I have a number of family members who are Roman Catholic. I really fear for them, just as I do for you. For many years I pretended they were Christians, just a little different. But then I began to study. That was before I studied what Rome really teaches. That was before I studied Roman Catholic history. That was before I got serious about studying the Bible.

The most loving thing I can do for you and all other Catholics here is to sound the alarm, even though you may despise me for it. My prayer is that the Lord will use my warnings here to prompt some unknown soul to go about discovering what Scripture really teaches.

Catholic FRiends, do you really know The Gospel? Are you sure?

Hans Kung is certainly NOT in good standing with the Catholic Church....and or good Pope Francis will not change that.

Hans Kung is on the other team. His idea of saving the Catholic Church would involve the gates of hell prevailing against Her. Ain’t gonna happen Hans.

That’s your opinion. After the Pope’s promotions of O’Malley, Wuerl, and Maradiaga, I think he’s capable of anything.
