**He believed every person had the right to an education, including women and girls.**
The Reformers were all big on education. Why? That was the only way one could read Scripture. No wonder the Roman Catholic church was against him.

Women had been educated in Catholic universities for centuries prior. They were the most educated women inthe world. Read the writings of St. Gertrude (12th century) and St. Catherine of Sienna (a while later, but before ML). They are scholarly.

As long as every person wasn’t a Jew. He hated Jews and wanted them all dead. He was perhaps one of the biggest Jew haters of all time.

NO,the Roman Catholic Church was against him because he preached heresy against the teachings of Jesus. I have nothing against Luther. I am sure his church has done some good work. If you’re a Lutheran, enjoy it, and leave the rest of the God-fearing religions alone.

Good grief, the printing press and Martin luther both came along at roughly the same time and it was the press which allowed people to have access to the Bible...before that ALL Bibles were hand copied and thus EXCEEDINGLY rare and expensive....sheesh!!

"No wonder the Roman Catholic church was against him."Yeah, the same Catholic Church that sponsored and supported all manner of art and education (for which it is often criticized by Protestants today, just as Protestants of yesteryear sought out and smashed this selfsame art). It's quite funny that in your worldview the Catholic Church is an enormous bogey-man responsible for every possible ill. German peasants couldn't read? Blame the Catholic Church! Protestant reformers were spewing anti-Semites? Blame the Catholic Church! Modern South America is impoverished? Blame the you-know-who!
Whatever. Enjoy your playmobil.
