the fact that parents found out is proof that she was flaunting it. The lesbian was probably telling some of her students how "wonderful" her lesbian "marriage" is, and that it's no different from anyone else's. And kids talk to their parents.

Since 2007, Waldron Mercy Academy knew that teacher Margie Winters had been civilly married to her lesbian lover, but they kept her on as Director of Religious Education anyway for a total of eight years, under the advisement that she keep her relationship secret and not discuss it with students or parents.

The school is protected, for now.
The SCOTUS ruled, 9-0, that religious organizations have a "ministerial exception" to work bias laws. Yes, even the dyke voted yes.
