He did, and he’ll probably do it again when he addresses congress.

Good move Papa! Little Sister’s of the Poor will be doing their good work when Obama is a footnote in History.

I clicked on this thread just to make a comment similar to yours. I remember Mother Theresa and that address. Right in Clinton’s face. I hope the Pope speaks out strongly against abortion. Especially in view of the videos and Congress’s failure to stand up for life. Let him challenge the so-called democrat Catholics, Pelosi especially.

"He made a SCHEDULED visit to communist Cuba." So did Pope Benedict XVI and Saint Pope John Paul II.

I agree-— but photo ops are actions, too.

"63 million abortions on behalf of Obolas democratic party" BTW, that would be 63 million abortions since Roe vs Wade in 1973, "on behalf of"
- 1973-74 Richard Nixon (R)
- 1974-77 Gerald Ford (R)
- 1977-81 Jimmy Carter (D)
- 1981-89 Ronald Reagan (R)
- 1989-93 George H.W. Bush (R)
- 1993-2001 Bill Clinton (D)
- 2001-2009 George W. Bush (R)
- 2009-2015 Barack Obama (R)

Muslims exempted from Obamacare? Interesting. Please provide links to proof. And I mean proof, not multiple conjectures and badly-sourced opinions. Thank you.
BTW, through the Freedom of Information Act, you can get a list of all the groups that have successfully applied for exemptions. The overwhelming majority of them are explicitly Anabaptist that is, Mennonite, Amish or Hutterite. Those that dont specify their denomination are still explicitly Christian. According to this FOIA search, no non-Christian group has ever qualified for an exemption under the statute used to define exempt religious groups in the health care law

That wouldn't be because Castro wouldn't give permission, would it?
And seriously, would you expect him to? Who's naive here?

Yeah. It was "secret" because he knew nobody would be watching.
Really, Arthur.

He should have demanded that fifty Little Sisters of the Poor be seated across the front row in Congress.

What he said in Laudato Si was this:
""Business is a noble vocation, directed to producing wealth and improving the world. It can be a fruitful source of prosperity for the area in which it operates, especially if it sees the creation of jobs as an essential part of its service to the common good" (Laudato Si, 129)
He repeated that in his address to the joint session of Congress.

Subtlety is not quite what is needed in a country that sanctions the murder of millions of babies, the selling of their body parts, anal sodomy and the persecution of citizens for having religious objections to the state blessing Homosexual marriage.

I often have ideas like that. Which is why I want to retch when I hear anybody gushing about the Pope or some other public figure’s “daring” and “thinking outside the box.” They don’t do anything of the kind.
