Welcome to Lebanon, land of the spectacular Christmas decorations. From Anfeh to Tyre - no city disappoints this time of year.
(Many, many beautiful photos. Very surprising to see the extent the Lebanese go to celebrate Christmas)

They need some Mummers...
I lived in Delaware 4 years and never went to the parade.
On my list of stuff to do...
“They need some Mummers...”
Fancy Brigades or Comics? I think the Muslims would kill the Comics.
Yes, Lebanon needs this:

Are you from Newfoundland? Cheers...Chris
I like the way the Lebanese celebrate Easter too!

(Any excuse to post this video! I LOVE it!)
That’s fantastic. It is like live opera - as if the world is indeed a stage.
Thanks for the ping! Have never been to Lebanon but I get a taste for it each year when they decorate the Church. One of our Lebanese parishioners, using brown craft paper, creates a massive diorama of Bethlehem as a backdrop for the Nativity, in the sanctuary. Given its unique character, each year’s display is different. Just breathtaking.
I post it every Easter, but it seemed to be appropriate for this thread.
