The abortion business Planned Parenthood managed to find a few clergy to help promote its pro-abortion agenda in a new video.
Planned Parenthood is desperate for support after Americans elected a large group of pro-life leaders to the United States Congress last fall. Efforts to cut off millions of taxpayer funds to the abortion chain are under way.
In an appeal to religious individuals, Planned Parenthood produced a new video this week where four pro-abortion clergy members two Baptist pastors, a Unitarian Universalist pastor and a Jewish rabbi urged people to support the abortion business, according to the Daily Caller.
None of them mentioned the word abortion. Instead, they used terms like health care and reproductive justice to disguise how Planned Parenthoods No. 1 focus is killing unborn babies in abortions.
I believe that everybody should have access to health care, Pastor Timothy MacDonald III of First Iconium Baptist Church said in the video. When people of faith speak up for reproductive justice, compassion becomes the order of the day.
But health care comes second to abortion at Planned Parenthood. Earlier this year, the abortion groups leaders refused a offer for an increase in taxpayer funding to devote to health care because the condition was that they could no longer do abortions. CEO Cecile Richards called the offer obscene and insulting, making it very clear that abortions not womens health care are what Planned Parenthood is all about.
Keep up with the latest pro-life news and information on Twitter.
In 2015, Planned Parenthood performed 328,348 abortions, nearly 5,000 more than the previous year. That same year, its prenatal services dropped almost 50 percent to 9,419, and adoption referrals, while up slightly, remained extremely low at 2,889.
Its patient numbers, contraception services, breast exams and cancer screenings are down, too, despite receiving taxpayer funding increases under President Barack Obamas administration.
Another pro-abortion clergy member in the video, Rev. Darcy Roake, a Unitarian Universalist minister who serves on the Planned Parenthood Clergy Advocacy Board, attempted to claim that religious people should care for others by supporting the No. 1 abortion business in the United States.
It is our role as children of God to care for our fellow men and women and the idea that theres just one monopoly on a religious voice, that is not true, Roake said.
Rabbi Lori Koffman of New York Citys Central Synagogue had a similar message: Everybody is entitled to dignity people need more access to healthcare, more access to contraception, more access to education. Everything about what Planned Parenthood does really speaks in my mind to Jewish religious ethical values.
Judaeo-Christian values teach that every human life is valuable and deserving of protection. Planned Parenthood does not protect lives; its key business is to destroy them and make money doing it.
May God deal with them ever so severely. Along with the women who solicit for the murder of their children, and the butchers (’doctors’) who perform the murders. A civilized society would have the death penalty for this kind of evil, but America just encourages it all the more, even here on FR.
These pastors and leaders would fail a 20 question Bible quiz.
Unitarian Universalists aren’t really Christian, considering that atheists can be full-fledged members of the “church”, even clergy.
You gotta love those rainbow colored vestments the lesbian pastors wear sometimes. So fancy.
If they can endorse sacrificing babies to baal with a straight face they are certainly not Baptist and are not Christians. I don’t know who the pray too and worship but it is not the God of Abraham, Jacob, Issac, Paul, Peter and John.
