(Note: Just heard from Stars & Stripes Forever and she gave the following for today’s post over the phone. They have been without electricity for two days. The area has experienced high winds and torrential rains.)

Join Freepers throughout the world to pray for PRESIDENT TRUMP and VICE-PRESIDENT PENCE and for AMERICA: All Levels of Government, Family, Military, Business, Education, Churches, Health Care Systems and the Media.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His Will, He hears us. (1 John 5:14)

Heavenly Father, We Praise Your Holy Name and Thank You for Your Everlasting Promises.

We pray these promises for our President, nation’s leaders and people, men and women in uniform and believers everywhere.

It says in Your Word that in times like these You, Father God, are our refuge and our strength, a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1)

Psalm 91: Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you. Just open your eyes, and see how the wicked are punished. If you make the LORD your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet! The LORD says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.”

Father God, we thank You for the mercy and grace that You have poured upon our lives. We thank You for Your Son, Jesus Christ, our Salvation and our Redeemer.

Father God, we lift up the leadership of this nation, and ask that they be filled more and more with Your Light, and that there be no room for darkness. We ask that they be filled with discernment and wisdom that comes from You. May they seek Your protection and blessings as they lead this nation back into Your fold.

Father God, we lift up the cultural leadership of this nation, especially the press or mainstream media. Father God, we ask that they be freed from the chains that bind them, causing them to deceive and rebel against You. Heal their blindness that they will see the corruption and the damage which they propagate. May they repent, be humbled, and seek Your Light.

Father God, this nation is in dire need of repair – all because we turned our backs on You. Lead us to serve You. May we seek to be One Nation Under God.

Thank You for Your abundant mercy and grace. Thank You for Your Son, in His name we do pray.
