Update on little Gabriel

Several weeks back I asked for prayers for Gabriel an 11 year old boy in an un-explainable coma. I have just received an update that is somewhat promising.

While he is still in a coma Gabriel's parents were able to get him to a better hospital and they report they have a renewed sense of hope. If nothing else, since we have been praying for them and their son, Gabriel's parents have received a comforting grace from the Holy Spirit and this is of course very important since they are making decisions about Gabriel's future. Now they can think clearer.

Within this last year I read about a 16 year-old who went into a coma where it could not be explained. They later found that he had an undiagnosed brain infection, which the doctors were able to determine only after he had come out of it.

This boy spent ten years in this state, but he could recall everything that was said around him. He grew to hate the Barney Show. He could hear it all but could not tell anyone to change the channel.

If you know the parents tell them to talk to him as if he is fully aware of what they are saying. And if possible, have people take turns staying with him at night.
