Suppose we go to another planet and find a working computer loaded with a complex program. Is our first assumption that this unit self assembled from materials lying around and turned itself on?

Suppose we went to another planet and found myriads and myriads of different complex computers of all shapes and sizes, from the size of a virus to the size of a blue whale.
Only a fool would say they were self assembled from random parts. But a ‘scientist’ would...............
The argument is “Just give us one miracle (the big bang or whatever) and then we can explain all the rest” LoL
They tell us that the entire universe started as an infinitesimally small point called a singularity, that exploded into billions of galaxies, stars, planets and everything you see.
We say, “We told you so.”.....................
All of the elements that make up a car can be found on earth. Yet no one has found a car that made itself. and then who made the elements?
I’ve always concluded with the thought that it takes a far greater and far-fetched stretch of the imagination to think a big bang could cause all of this rather than a creator.

Great article. The posters on this thread recognize what should be unquestionable truth, that unimaginable complexity cannot arise spontaneously from blind chance. Given an eternity of eons, a room full of monkeys sitting at typewriters will scarcely manage to produce a few recognizeable words strung together, let alone the Encyclopedia Brittanica times one trillion that would be required to create the “simplest” cell. Yet this was the mindless assumption taught to us in our high school biology classes.
