Western Civilization in the 21st century is marked by religious pluralism, where people from all over the world have been able to come to various nations in Europe and North America to freely exercise their religious beliefs. That religious pluralism has also manifested within Christianity itself over the past five centuries.

500 years ago, western history was changed.

So do you think the change has been for the better or the worse?

Would have happened regardless of religious faith tradition. It is called “seperation of church and state”.

And do approve or disapprove of that separation?

Have heard of the Social Reign of Christ the King? The traditional Catholic Church has just celebrated its feast day this past Sunday.

So do you think the change has been for the better or the worse?

If Western Civilization had continued on unabated under the Roman Catholic Church of the 14th century, we would not be exchanging electronic messages here, on the internet, using computers, sitting comfortably in heated homes with central plumbing. We would be living in circumstances rather more like the backward muslim hellholes of today.

Only in the Novus Church, due only to fear of interfering with "Reformation Sunday".

Thank you. Just think how much better off the world would be today if the muslims had their own Luther a few centuries ago. Their shariah horror states could’ve been tamed down to sane levels. But some would still rather have the catholic “shariah” terror of the middle ages today! Boggles the mind, really.

Are you serious? You believe the enlightenment in a positive light?

And apparently many novus ordo catholics don’t know what that Sunday (Feast of Christ the King) is either, and the reason for its placement in the pre-VC II liturgical calendar.

Yeah, right.

Legalized abortion in 1973 and homo-marriage in 2015, all post VC II, post-enlightenment and post-”reformation”.

Luther's response at the Diet of Worms...

“Since your majesty and your lordships desire a simple reply, I will answer without horns or teeth.

Unless I am convinced by Scripture and by plain reason - I do not believe in the authority of either popes or councils by themselves, for it is plain that they have often erred and contradicted each other - in those Scriptures that I have presented, for my conscience is captive to the Word of God, I cannot and I will not recant anything, for to go against conscience is neither right nor safe.

Here I stand; I can do no other. God help me. Amen.”
