So do you think the change has been for the better or the worse? If Western Civilization had continued on unabated under the Roman Catholic Church of the 14th century, we would not be exchanging electronic messages here, on the internet, using computers, sitting comfortably in heated homes with central plumbing. We would be living in circumstances rather more like the backward muslim hellholes of today.
