One of the greatest evidences that there is a God -- to whom we owe our very lives, and whose Word we are to follow -- is the mere existence of a nation called Israel. Thus the rampant hatred for the children of Abraham. Nevertheless, science again makes clear what Scripture long ago revealed.
A 60 Minutes episode from 2000 -- for which I have a transcript -- reported on a genetics study that revealed a “priestly Y-chromosome” among the general Jewish population. In other words, all those who claimed to be Jewish priests (only males) shared a common male ancestor. As Lesley Stahl reported, “The results proved that Jewish priests from all around the world are, in fact, descended from one single man, a common paternal ancestor somewhere back in time.”
To tease her listening audience, Stahl asked, “How long ago did this great, great, great-grandfather live?” The scientist she was interviewing provided the answer: 3,000 years ago. In other words, right in line with the timeline presented by the Bible for when Moses’ brother Aaron -- the patriarch of the Jewish priesthood -- lived.
Likewise, in the year 2000, a study widely reported on revealed that the Jews and the Arabs shared a common genetic heritage. The study, published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, looked at the Y-chromosome -- which passed directly and unaltered from father to son -- of male Jews and Arabs and found that they shared “ common set of genetic signatures.”
This should come as no surprise to anyone who knows -- and believes -- Scripture. The first two sons of Abraham were Ishmael -- the son of Hagar and the patriarch of the Arabs -- and Isaac, the son of Sarah and patriarch of the Jews.

Liberal-Secular and IGNORANT Jews CAN be brought to a situation of self-loathing and even utter disgust at their coreligionists.
History is re-pleat with Jews who turn against thier fellow Jew. As (especially) North American Jewry assimilates, they become estranged from Torah and G-d’s commandments.
For a modern day secular Jew, G-d, Bible and all that has no meaning and is rejected outright without even having an inkling of understanding.
The whole concept of Jew is inseparable (no matter what) from the (what I call, “Holy Triad”). No, I do not mean the “Trilogy” in Christianity but rather this:
The People of Israel (”Am Yisrael”).
The Land of Israel (”Eretz Yisrael”).
The Torah of Israel (”Torat yisrael”).
These three factors are one.
For whatever your concept of Israel is, it matters none because the world seems to have a preoccupation with hatred towards the Jews and now, in modern times, the State of Israel.
Israel is treated unlike any other nation state. It is vilified for pushing a PLO rioter while hundreds of thousands of Arab Muslims slaughter each other, day in and day out. There is no proportion to the hated vented at Israel. It defies reason and logic.
So no matter what you say or do, you really can’t win so, Israel, do what you need to do and let them scream and foam at the mouth from terminal rabies...

The “rather this” triad you described is material (i.e., people, land, Torah.) How does that translate to the immaterial virtue of faith?

A) Everyone is descended from one man somewhere back in time.
B) History lesson: Back 1400 years ago, when Mohammad and his disciples were pillaging the Middle East and North Africa, he warred against various Jewish settlements and tribes giving them the choice (sometimes) to submit or die. Those that submitted became mussulmen and bred with Arabs, so of course there is a “common genetic heritage.”
People/Land/Torah is physical and spiritual.
The Land, the People and the Torah are all Holy, (THAT’S WHY THEY’RE HATED).
Everything is intertwined IF you have a spiritual sense.
If you are an Atheist or skeptic or materialist, it maters none.
The Jews who reside in G-d’s country (Israel) as Promised by G-d seem to be actually fulfilling a purpose, both physical and spiritual.
The Torah recounts history and spiritual events that happened there, in that Land.
The stories and books cover the adventures of a People, the same people who inhabit it today.
The seasons covered in the Torah and the festivities contained within it are related to the Land of Israel only.
Whatever happens to the JEWISH PEOPLE IS DEEPLY ROOTED IN THE LAND ITSELF AND...SO IT SAYS IN THE TORAH.
EACH ELEMENT COMPLIMENTS THE OTHER AND OVERLAPS THE OTHER.
IT’S AMAZING AND HAS NO OTHER PARALLEL.

I like Israelis I know personally more than most of their neighbors I’ve known but I have had Arab Christian friends and one Arab Christian wife though she was born in Brazil still I prefer old school boho Israelis

Look, Israel gets an unfair shake from just about any corner of the world.
Looking at it from a purely rational and fair perspective, Israel deserves to be treated like any other nation on the planet.
They are not perfect but struggle trying to be a Parliamentary Democracy, free society, open, liberal, Capitaluist, Western and Judicially monitored power having to face Zombie Paleostinians and a hostile Arab, Persian, Muslim world.
Nobody has to deal with the crap they take, yet they are criticized for defending their very lives.
Bible or no Bible, they are treated like crap by the mainstream because the mainstream never looks inward to apply a set of standards no nation can stand up to.
Sure there are great Muslims, Christians and Jews but the only set of people who seem to have not evolved are the Muslim Arabs. As T.E. Lawrence said (at least Peter O’Toole in the 1962 hit, Lawrence of Arabia:

It is impossible to study scripture diligently with an eye to discredit it and not be convinced of its absolute authenticity and brought under the Spirit of the Living God. Impossible.

One of the greatest evidences that there is a God — is the raging HATRED some feel for Him. That hate rises against their own sense of His existence. It is fueled by their rejection of His authority, primed by the bit of Himself that is in them.
As I’ve said before - simply because Satan wants to call God a Liar - His promise to Abraham and his descendants through Isaac. That’s why many have tried to wipe out the Jews and failed. God will not be mocked, nor His promises broken.

No, Jews and Arabs share a common genetic heritage because they are both Middle Eastern Semitic people descend from the same ancestors thousands of years ago, in the neolithic era, not because of some kind of mixing that happened after the Muslim conquests.
