Pope Francis: Opponents of Mass Migration Sow ‘Violence, Racial Discrimination and Xenophobia’
Breitbart ^ | 1/1/18 | Thomas D. Williams

Posted on 01/02/2018 6:08:27 PM PST by marshmallow

In his new message for the World Day of Peace, Pope Francis has denounced those who question the wisdom of mass migration, accusing them of demagoguery and promoting xenophobia.

Those who decry “the risks posed to national security or the high cost of welcoming new arrivals,” are guilty of “demeaning the human dignity due to all as sons and daughters of God,” Francis said in the New Year’s message.

To resort to such “rhetoric,” the Pope continued, people “are sowing violence, racial discrimination and xenophobia, which are matters of great concern for all those concerned for the safety of every human being.”

The Catholic Church celebrates the World Day of Peace each year on New Year’s day, when it also commemorates the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God. In his annual message for the Day of Peace, the Pope opted once again to underscore the plight of migrants and refugees, as he has on several occasions recently.

Migrants are men and women, children and elderly people, “who are searching for somewhere to live in peace,” Francis said, and in order to find that peace, “they are willing to risk their lives on a journey that is often long and perilous, to endure hardships and suffering, and to encounter fences and walls built to keep them far from their goal.”

“In a spirit of compassion, let us embrace all those fleeing from war and hunger, or forced by discrimination, persecution, poverty and environmental degradation to leave their homelands,” he said.

The Pope also outlined his theory regarding the causes of the mass migration that is affecting Europe and other parts of the world.

I'm sorry if this sounds like Black Helicopters, but I really am starting to believe that the Deep State has been industriously installing these tools in position of authority worldwide.

The unusual abdication of the pope's predecessor has never been properly explained.

Soros, Bilderberg Group, Skull and Bones, CFR, EU, quisling Dems and RINOs, all of them, are united in one goal of one world order.

President Trump is almost the last obstacle in their way. I pray for his safety every day.

Mass migration ... if you oppose it the Muslim hordes won’t and can’t like you any less than they do where they are right now; but, if you don’t oppose it and let them in they will end up hating just as much as they do now ... only right next door.

Guess which version Islamists prefer you to choose?

Go on, take a stab ... because if given the opportunity they sure will.

So when does the Vatican wall come down?

The church has survived worse than Francis.

Still, this is not a good time to be a Catholic. I am heartily sick of being told to welcome invaders.

Do Catholics really believe this?

Per Unam Sanctam they have to.

"Furthermore, we declare, we proclaim, we define that it is absolutely necessary for salvation that every human creature be subject to the Roman Pontiff."

I cannot believe the pope is even a Christian. He worships politics not Christ. He surrounds himself with atheist and Gaia worshiping advisers.

This pope may not be the false Prophet but he is setting the stage for him.

Do Catholics really believe this?

THIS Catholic doesn't.

THIS Catholic believes the teachings of the Church (which, as often as not, are virtually the opposite of the utterances of the current occupant of the See of Peter).

2241 The more prosperous nations are obliged, to the extent they are able, to welcome the foreigner in search of the security and the means of livelihood which he cannot find in his country of origin. Public authorities should see to it that the natural right is respected that places a guest under the protection of those who receive him.

Political authorities, for the sake of the common good for which they are responsible, may make the exercise of the right to immigrate subject to various juridical conditions, especially with regard to the immigrants' duties toward their country of adoption. Immigrants are obliged to respect with gratitude the material and spiritual heritage of the country that receives them, to obey its laws and to assist in carrying civic burdens.

(highlighting mine)

Note the first highlighted phrase, "…to the extent they are able…" -- when looking at the US, we've granted green cards to almost 34 million people since 1980 (almost 18 million since 2000). That is over 1/10th of this country's population. Anybody, including Jorge Bergolgio, who accuses this country of being xenophobic, is simply full of crap. (Source: DHS statistics).

Note the second highlighted phrase, "Political authorities, for the sake of the common good for which they are responsible, may make the exercise of the right to immigrate subject to various juridical conditions…"

Note the last phrase: …Immigrants are obliged to respect with gratitude the material and spiritual heritage of the country that receives them, to obey its laws and to assist in carrying civic burdens.…

That, to me, sounds pretty reasonable. Sadly, it's been a long, long, long time since I've heard any hierarch in the Catholic Church actually preach in accordance with the above official teaching of the Church.

No.

He is an aberration, like the Medici and Borgia popes.

He is not infallible on these issues. He never gave a damn when Argentina was invading the Falklands.

But isn’t it like a rule that for your salvation you have to believe the Pope?

I think that the Pope, as regent of Vatican City, should invite all refugees to come to Vatican City.
