Well, if the truth is a mere idol and can’t be trusted or believed, then we surely don’t need pope Francis to teach us any idolatrous “truth.” He’s, at best, superfluous. ——————-“2And furthermore, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.

Brilliant article. Also, read Muller’s article in First Things about the sacraments and the truth. Yes, that Müller, who has been too silent and too mushy for too long, but may have found his voice.
