Biblical illiteracy ... plain and simple ...
RE: Biblical illiteracy ... plain and simple ...
What about the Mega church Pastor referred to in this article?
Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also;
if they claim to have ‘found another way’- then they aren’t Christians- period

It’s more than that. It is the depravity of Natural Man fulfilling prophecy. They see what they want to see and not what the Holy Spirit tells us to see.
God of the butt plug pump.
The Church is not the vehicle that brings souls to Christ. It is the Holy Spirit working in the world that creates followers.
Christ does not depend on human institutions for the salvation of the world. They are a stumbling block to salvation. Membership in a church is not a ticket to heaven.
Is Christ the only means of salvation? Ask God. He will tell you.
“You believe in one God? You do well; the devils believe also, and tremble.”
There were several people mentioned in the article ... who specifically were you referring to? Just because a pastor preaches to thousands in a Mega church doesn't mean he/she is biblically literate.
Because they’re into “We” are the World, gotta love everyone sing songie mode.....nothing matters but sticky gooey love.
Marxism is applied Christian social doctrine minus a belief in the divinity of Christ. This black preacher, who has completely sold his soul to the godless Democratic Party, no doubt puts Marx, Lenin, Stalin and Mao in his pantheon. Eventually the black community will realize why the well fed, prosperous “religious leaders” live so well but allow the abortion clinics to be situated in their neighborhoods and why their kids are herded into horrible, union controlled public schools.
Jesus says, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father but through Me.” And, “He who believes and is baptized will be saved. He who does not believe shall be condemned.”
The preachers who teach that there are other ways to be saved are false prophets leading their followers to Hell. On Judgment Day, Jesus will say, “I never knew you. Depart from Me.” It’s all in the Bible, which is God’s Word to mankind explaining His gracious plan of salvation.
......The strongest supporters of God as described in the Bible were Christians who self-identified as members of historically black Protestant churches at 92 percent, followed closely by evangelicals at 91 percent.....Significant minorities of Christians who identified as Catholics, 28 percent, and mainline Protestants, 26 percent, indicated that they believe in a higher power or spiritual force which is not God as described in the Bible.....
As usual, they did not survey Orthodox Christians, especially Orthodox Christians in “good standing”!!!!
“And so the key is you believe in God. And whatever your path is to God I celebrate that. Personally, I celebrate that,” Walrond said.
The company he keeps are the demons that believe and tremble, but have no salvation in it.
He is celebrating being outside the Kingdom of God.
The Greek Archdiocese successfully fought to have Orthodox recognized as a major religious group by the federal and most State governments back in the 1960’s.
Apparently the press and pollsters never got the memo.
**Walrond, who was named “One of the Lord’s Foot Soldiers” by Newsweek magazine, told his congregants that the belief that anyone who doesn’t believe in Jesus is going to hell is “insanity.”**
But Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life.”
“I am the gatekeeper.”
“I am the Good Shepherd. My sheep know me and I know them.”
If Jesus is not the only way, then they’re not Christians.
