Keep in mind, this clown is one of Al Sharpton’s goons:

Because I equate false interpretation of the bible with the current pope and this guy.....that ok ?
Because I equate false interpretation of the bible with the current pope and this guy.....that ok ? “even if that path to God doesn’t include Jesus?”
RE: There are indeed many paths to God. Ive found one myself, that does not involve religion at all. But it is very, very real.
How do you square that with the emphatic statement that Jesus made: “I am THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE. NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER BUT BY ME.” (John 14:6).
Note, Jesus did not say A way or a truth and a life. He used the emphatic word “THE”.
So....Christianity, hold the Christ. This preacher is nothing but a hell-bound fool.
What did Jesus mean, then, when He said, “I and the Father are One”? “No man comes to the Father, except by Me”. The soul is the mind and emotions. Trying to find God by using just the soulish realm, is a fool’s errand. We have a body, a soul, and a spirit. It is our spirit man, which is alive unto God, if we receive Him, through Jesus, as our Lord and Savior. “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he”. John 4:23-26
Walrond Hubbard here needs to start his own religion.
Theres a documentary movie out right now called Pope Francis: A Man Of His Word. The left is praising it to the hilt. Wonder why that is....
The only ones who have a chance without Jesus are those who have never heard the Word and been given an opportunity to make a decision...babies aren’t stained by sin and are incapable of knowing/deciding...we mourn them the most even as they get the “express ticket” to heaven w/o all the trials and tribulations of our Human experiences.
So you’re a thief as well as a liar.
Your unwillingness to condemn this is duly noted.
I don't take the bible literally, though it was pounded into me for years. In fact, I don't believe most of it.
The kindness of your words is exactly what I would expect (and have experienced often in my life) from the (obviously) Most Righteous.
But really, you don't have to sugar coat it. Say what you really feel.
RE: I don’t take the bible literally, though it was pounded into me for years. In fact, I don’t believe most of it.
Well, there you go. You have just defined your own version of Christianity or your own religion. Good luck with that and those who think like you.
All paths lead to God. That is correct. All will face the Almighty God at some time. Only those covered by the blood of Jesus Christ will get to live with Him forever. The rest get to suffer immensely with the one whose delusions they followed.
Absolutely! That was pretty much the point of the article, if you hadn’t noticed. That there’s a lot of people who believe the same way.
And it’s a breath of fresh air.
Watch out for the lumber in your eye, btw ;)
My point is this... Truth does not change regardless of how many people believe otherwise.
Just because a growing number of people still go to church, still use the Bible and still disbelieve it does not mean that they believe what is true.
And this phenomenon is not new, the Bible itself describes this attitude as far back as the early history of Israel (see the last paragraph of the book of Judges as one example)
Unless that path is through faith in Christ then you haven't found God and cannot find God.
The New Testament is crystal clear.
One can only gain Heaven through faith in Christ and Christ alone.
No one else.
Nailed it.
Your screen name, being a recent phrase, yet saying from before that phrase, indicates duplicity.
The ‘stolen’ was referring to your admission of stealing the freethinker/skeptic catchphrase.
