I agree. In fact, the word translated “days” In Exodus 20:11 (yom) actually is translated many different ways in the bible. In fact, here is the list of different translations in the NASV:


This word Yom, is also the Hebrew word used in the creation account. And, as your reference to Bible Hub shows, the definition in Strong’s Concordance is #3117. (No matter which version of the Bible is used).
So that it is ambiguous exactly what the Bible means in the Genesis creation account. To me, only God knows what exactly He means, and you do NOT have to believe in evolution, in order to believe that a “day” in Genesis may be longer than 24 hours. As long as you don’t try to throw evolution, and humans being descended from apes into the mix, I don’t care which meaning He meant. When we get to Heaven, all these answers will come.

We are one in agreement on this one. Sometimes one needs to invoke Titus 3:9 to stuff like this.
