Last Saturday a very angry man took out his frustrations on me because of pedophile priests in the Roman Catholic Church. I don’t blame him for being angry. His language would curl your ear hair, but I certainly felt his pain. He was frustrated because I was preaching in California, seemingly unconcerned that these robed vultures were perched in this religious institution and were swooping in on the most vulnerable among us.
He wanted me to stop preaching in California, and instead go to Rome, talk to the pope, and tell him to clean the filth from the Catholic Church.

I told him that I hated what was going on even more than he did. What I didn’t tell him is that there’s a reason that the Catholic Church is filled with homosexuals and pedophiles who molest little boys (most of the thousand known cases just in Pennsylvania involved boys). Jesus said in John chapter 3 that every one of us must be born again or we will not enter Heaven—which happens through repentance and trusting alone in Jesus. They believe that this happens at baptism.1

well imho they perv up in weakness, homosexuality is an abomination to God, he loves all and calls us to Him, in rightiousness,,we all fail, that doesn’t make sins good..repent..God will forgive you

He is WRONG about many things:

"They also embrace the unscientific theory of evolution" WRONG! They allow for the possibility, as long as God is credited for the process. I, among many are clear on Creation, and NOT the young earth version, while allowing for some adaptation within a species.
The notion that not allowing Priests to marry is somehow a driving factor in homosexuality is just plain ignorant.
Does Ray believe that Married Priests would automatically be chaste in marriage and not subject to divorce or adultery?
I’m sure Ray Comfort does a lot of good work with his ministry, but after reading the article, it’s clear that there is a lot he does not understand about the Catholic Church. I think he sees this as an opportunity to denigrate a competitor, to hopefully knock loose some California Catholics to join the church he founded.
One is ill advised who takes advice from one’s enemies.
I like his answer when the guy tells him to go to Rome and preach to them and “fix it”, he says “They won’t let me on the balcony!”
The church is getting money from the government now. DHS is paying them to settle illegals.
I know Catholics who write letters to the church about this. We should all be screaming bloody murder about it.
Excellent point, if a very simple one: We must be born again, and that is not just for the “born-again Christians,” whom some people want to put in a separate sect, but for every Christian. The church had to deny this in order to stay in charge of everyone’s religious life and thoughts.
Victims should be ashamed to have called out priests.

Actually it’s not...
If you start with a pool of young men, the normal ones will like women and dream to someday raise a family. The homosexual ones are not interested in women and have no intention of marrying a woman.
Which of the two groups would the priesthood seem like the most attractive option?
When a heterosexual man enters the priesthood, he gives up a lot. Not so for the homosexual man.
They allow for the possibility, as long as God is credited for the process.

Nobody is born again yet (except the ‘first fruits’)
We get to be “Born Again” in the manner that Yeshua described to Nicodemus in John 3 on the “Day of Trumpets” if and only if we have endured to the end in obedience to the covenant.
“The Church” is not Yeshua’s assembly; it is a completely man made body (all churches) and is what Yeshua referred to in Revelation when he cried “Come out of her...”

Sure I do. I once knew it all from the Church’s point of view, and then I was born again.
Being born again is in the Gospel is several different forms, not only John 3. The verses about putting new wine into old bottles, or patching an old garment with new cloth, for instance.
Possibly you can’t see it unless you are born again, which makes it impossible except that other verses tell you to ask and you will receive.
It’s essential, and quite traumatic for some when their eyes are opened all at once to God’s sanctifying gift.
