The Lavender Mafia controls the papacy and the Vatican overall, and Pope Francis is packing the College of Cardinals, who will elect the next pope, with sympathizers. Pope Francis and his minions have now been exposed, named, and shamed; and there will be a civil war within the Roman Catholic Church.Or a schism which will make the split between Protestant sects (think ELCA and Missouri Synod) look like a friendly backyard brawl by comparison.

The tragic thing, is that all of my Catholic friends are good people who would never dream of buggery on a child. The people in the pews would be horrified. Protestant or Catholic, we all need to stand with the good people during this moment. We can save our intramural sports for another day. Right now all Christians need to stand side-by-side against these perverts. Are Catholic friends need to know they are not alone.

If it doesn’t happen the Roman Catholic Church might well become a rump religion with Benedict, so long as he is extant, recognized and then acting as The Pope of the Catholic Church. Frannie is effectively an antipope now.

Civil war has started in the RCC. You put a guy in at the top of an organization who doesn't believe in the organization, or its mission, and yeah, you'll usually get a civil war within the organization.
