As a person of deep faith, I would never impose my religious beliefs on anyone – and no one else should either.

... as she insists that the government should do exactly that.

“But most employers who challenged the HHS mandate are pro-life Christians who did not want to be forced to provide birth control that may cause abortions.”

Here’s a thought: If you want this type of controversial birth control, pay for it yourself.

"And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their actions" 2 Cor 11:14-15

During my first marriage we attended Methodist services as my wife belonged to that denomination. We had a female pastor for a year who would always steer the sermon to homosexual rights no matter what the stated subject was supposed to be. She also brought along a half dozen gays with full-blown AIDS from her former congregation.

“Jesus directs us to advocate for a just society that allows people to live their lives to the fullest”...so what would Jesus think about those who snuff out those lives when they have progressed only a few months.....

“... because by permitting individuals to plan if, whether and when to become pregnant, birth control allows us to live our fullest lives.””

“if whether and when to become pregnant” all happen prior to conception - once conception happens her arguement is no longer valid. Abortions are not preformed prior to conception or positive pregancy test.

I didn’t have to read past the first sentence to know the “minister” is a woman. Exhibit 1 why the Bible explicitly teaches women to not be pastors.

The stupid Methodist minister (yes stupid) ignores that those that provide for the payment of health insurance benefits have rights as well, including the right to not be paying for benefits they do not in good conscience support for moral reasons, even when those reasons are not religious. Neither she nor any other woman are PRVENTED from obtaining certain coverages, they simply may not demand others pay for them, if those who would pay for them object. In other words her education either to teach her to improve her use of logic and her religious education failed to teach her any Christian moral duty to human life once conceived.

The American mainline churches have been taken over by Satan. Christians need to be OUT of those churches.

Methodist Pastor Uses Bible Verse to Defend Forcing Christians to Fund Abortions

The Methodists, like many other so-called "main stream" denominations have been taken over by evil.

I wonder how this "minister" is going to explain how he justifies killing the unborn when he meets his maker.

I didn’t see a bible verse here so I looked at the transcript. The verse she is referring to with her
“Jesus directs us to advocate for a just society that allows people to live their lives to the fullest,”
She is referring to John 10:10.
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

“Jesus directs us to advocate for a just society that allows people to live their lives to the fullest,” Baker said.

That is not a "verse". That is a outright lie.

Jesus never said any such thing.

She should pay more attention to what Jesus said about the little ones.

“Jesus directs us to advocate for a just society that allows people to live their lives to the fullest,” Baker said. “And this means supporting access to affordable birth control, because by permitting individuals to plan if, whether and when to become pregnant, birth control allows us to live our fullest lives.”

This evil wench needs to read the Bible again. And then repent!
