From the source you've quoted from:

"Easter and the holidays that are related to it are moveable feasts which do not fall on a fixed date in the Gregorian or Julian calendars which follow only the cycle of the sun; rather, its date is determined on a lunisolar calendar similar to the Hebrew calendar. The First Council of Nicaea (325) established two rules, independence of the Jewish calendar and worldwide uniformity, which were the only rules for Easter explicitly laid down by the council. No details for the computation were specified; these were worked out in practice, a process that took centuries and generated a number of controversies. It has come to be the first Sunday after the ecclesiastical full moon that occurs on or soonest after 21 March,[11] but calculations vary."

First, the author is being a bit deceptive -

"Easter and the holidays that are related to it are moveable feasts which do not fall on a fixed date in the Gregorian or Julian calendars which follow only the cycle of the sun"

He/she then goes on to say, at the bottom of the paragraph above, the following -

" It has come to be the first Sunday after the ecclesiastical full moon that occurs on or soonest after 21 March,[11] but calculations vary."

Okay, so it's still directly tied to 21 March, the spring equinox! This is the time of the Ishtar/Inanna pagan celebrations.

And this -

"The First Council of Nicaea [In the year 325] established two rules, independence of the Jewish calendar and worldwide uniformity, which were the only rules for Easter explicitly laid down by the council. No details for the computation were specified; these were worked"

Therefore, the Jewish Hebrew calendar is the Almighty's calendar (read the Word), and the Council of Nicaea established a man-made calendar in the year 325.

Btw, which calendar do you suppose will be used after the second coming?

Remember Daniel 7 -

"‘The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom that will appear on earth. It will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth, trampling it down and crushing it. The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings. He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time."

Yeshua made a number of special arrangements for those who believe in him. One arrangement, of many, was the grafting in of His followers to the Hebrew root, who all follow the Almighty's calendar!

IMO, what you believe is one's own business (IIRC, Paul talks about this), and I don't feel it's a big deal which day one observes, provided you don't know any better. For surly we've inherited lies...

A new calendar

But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage? Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain. Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all.

...

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
