I checked to see it my memories were correct. Collected quite a few 6.5 oz bottles along roadsides and playgrounds for the 2 cent cash refund.
I loved those 6 ounce bottles.
Heavy and green and just the right size.
Thanks for the info - was born in ‘52 and a quick search showed some ads for “vintage” coke machines with the popular 8 oz bottles....the only 6 oz bottles I remember were the Nehi Grape Sodas.
I dropped 20 lbs. when I quit drinking Coke.
Just sayin’.
