Encouraging young radicals to ignore Church teaching will not restore this Church; other denominations that tried this now face empty churches. We’re already heading in the same direction, and this will hasten, not delay it. Without a strong foundation based on a fear of Hell, there is no reason for young people to get out of bed on Sunday.
