If God was a woman chocolate wouldn’t be fattening, women would have stronger sex drives than men, and none of that would matter anyway because She’d wipe out humanity with a great flood once per month. :)

They arent trying to build up women, many of whom are described as strong and important in the Bible (unlike the Koran), theyre trying to tear down men.
Hey, maybe accept we are different and complimentary, and maybe build each other up? Sadly, thats not the feminist way.

That must be the ultimate oxymoron, “feminist theologian”.

What about "pederast theologian," or "necrophile theologian," or "environmentalist theologian," or "mycophile theologian," or "vegan theologian," or "carnivore theologian," should those "theologians" have a remake "bible" also? The reason for the true Bible is to reconcile man to God--not God to man. We are here: If there are no absolutes by which to judge society, then society is absolute. Francis Schaeffer, How Shall We Then Live? (Old Tappan NJ: Fleming H Revell Company, 1976), p. 224.

I am sooooo sick of this feminist crap I could scream——and I’m a woman.
I will NEVER vote for a woman——ever, because of this type of thing.

AFP reported that the theologians, both from Protestant and Roman Catholic denominations across several countries, have put forth texts that challenge presentations of female Bible characters as weak and subordinate to the men around them. It is only their interpretations of various scripture verses.
Lots of that out there. It is not a rewriting of the Bible.
Lots of strong women in the Bible.

No doubt the Feminist Bible will be bought for the novelty, then placed on the shelf next to the also unread Queen James Bible.

I have to wonder about the depth of current education, when someone styled a ‘theologian’ says that they see a ‘virgin v whore’ dichotomy in the Bible’s depiction of women.
They obviously haven’t studied ancient thought, symbology, and philosophy deeply enough to get beyond their shallow and simplistic modern thinking. They are making religion banal, common, uninteresting - a grave mistake that they don’t seem wise enough to even recognize.

Rewriting the Bible in their liking. I suppose a lotta people would like to do that, but they don’t have the financial backing or the time these feministas do.

I think there’s been a feminazi version out there for quite some time.
