Personally, I consider such offenses against grammar as a mortal sin!
Further, I would like to ask . . .
If we are commanded to honor our father and mother, shouldn’t we also honor our grammar?
I’m happy to see ‘me’ used at all any more. The fear of being called out for the misuse of ‘me’ leads to very stilted, forced, and incorrect use of ‘I’ by most people.
