It’s great that these movies are being made and that Putin knows that Christianity is needed for a country to flourish.
But let’s not have illusions about what Putin still is and what Russia is still like.

No political correctness etc. There is not the animosity there, like we are seeing here. Its like stepping back in time a bit to the way it used to be.

No, its not a democracy, but neither are we.
We are a Republic that is in the midst of a major coup..... by a fully corrupt DOJ.
When I went to Russia I witnessed the WW2 celebration in Moscow in May. I was handed some gospel tracts as I was walking down the street. It was not restrictive there like I thought it would be.
I remember when America was a Christian nation, and Russia was atheist.
Now it’s switched.

Great idea. I buy religious DVDs at the local Catholic Center store, but the production values are often disappointing...
Even when the film is good the English dubbing is surprisingly poor.
I’ve seen great movies in Italian about Francis and Clare, Padre Pio—excellent acting, wonderful dialogue. But watch them in English and they sound like low-budget productions.
