Sola Scriptura simply means that all truth necessary for our salvation and spiritual life is taught either explicitly or implicitly in Scripture.
So; do you agree with this statement or not?

I certainly do agree with that statement as all well-informed Catholics do. But hold on, because you’ve touched upon one of the most important principles of Christian exegesis, which is the following. Jesus himself established one church, accurately described as one, holy, catholic, and apostolic, and He did that precisely so that his followers (then and throughout the ages to come) would have teachers (see Acts 8:30-31) to rightly teach them the truths of what we call the Judeo-Christian faith. The reason this principle is of the utmost importance is made evident by the fact that the Luther-created doctrine of Sola Scriptura induces non-Catholic Christians to discern for themselves the meaning of the Scriptures. Result: countless misunderstandings and misinterpretations, and a never-ending proliferation of protestant sects, all of whom are convinced beyond any doubt that their understanding of the Scriptures is absolutely correct and all others are misunderstandings, and therefore WRONG. I don’t think Jesus intended to establish the equivalent of the Tower of Babel!

I was stationed in Thailand at the time of Vatican II. I attended Mass in a missionary church. Mass was in Latin. It was that Latin was part of my culture, but not part of he culture of the Thais. Why shouldn't they have the Mass in Thai? I welcomed the Mass in English. However, in my travels I found that Mass in the local language left me out. I had a tough time following it.

Now I attend a Traditional Latin Mass in another town on Sundays. Weekdays I attend a Novus Ordo Mass at the church just up the street. I like the Latin, but I also appreciate having the Mass in my own language.
