String theorists, astrophysicists, and metaphysicists are just like 1st century Athenians. They now acknowledge an "unknown" God (what they call the 10th, 11th, or 26th dimension), they just won't submit to Him or acknowledge that He has anything to say to them. It seems that all of these theories require the "top" dimension (the 10th, 11th, or 26th, depending on the theory) to have the following properties:
Check out this eye-opening interview with the late Dr. Chuck Missler on the subject.
Good they can spend all eternity gnashing their teeth in agnony trying to figure out why they God they fail to acknowledge has it out for them.
Metaphysics at the catholic college I went to for one semester before transferring to Pace certainly taught that there was one true God and the whole course set out to prove it.
But I am guessing Metaphysics at non religious schools may be quite different.
Been re-reading (atheist) Asimov’s stories .
Obvious he used robots to fulfill “God’s” functions.
Gotta have something...
Asimov also wrote a pretty good guide or dictionary to the Bible. Yes, he was an Atheist but he understood the place that religion had in history.
All in all, he was a sort of strange cat.
Just like a guy looking at a beautiful woman but doesn’t want to date her.
“You gotta serve somebody....”
I love that song. I know what you mean.
Am still looking for "omnibenevolent."
Regards,
“Mother Nature” “Gaia” “Nature”
All are the false idols today. More often worshipped today.
Firstly, just because there is an infinite entity does NOT mean it’s the god you worship. Unless you want to claim that all monotheists are worshipping the same god.
Didn’t think so.
Secondly, the description sounds far more like what The Law Of One simply calls Source.
Yes he was. Asimov also wrote some non-fiction books where he described interesting aspects of nature. Can’t remember details because I read them so long ago. I loved all his books.

Gonna have to get up to speed on how to start a thread personally
There Is a God and a Jesus , fact ,
Listen to Joel Osteen. He’ll indulge your request. Just don’t believe him when he tells you that God really, really does want to make you rich.
I don’t understand how Aethiest who don’t believe in God have somehow become Calvinists. Because they do see themselves as ‘The Elect’
Well stated. Merely acknowledging a transcendent creator, even if they recognize that “he” is a personal being, falls well short of equating him with the God of the Bible.
The Big Electron.
Omnibenevolent?
John 3:16. For God so loved the world that He gave Hud only begotten Son, that t hose who believe might have eternal life.
Sounds Omnibenevolent to me.
