not the story I was expecting...
It was a horrible tragedy. As unfortunately happens sometimes, the media make fools of themselves.
I still remember the idiot “newsman”, Anderson Cooper, badgering Pam Biondi, attorney general of Florida, asking how the “gay community” could have any trust in her office, because Pam Biondi had been active in lawsuits against homosexual marriage.
What homosexual marriage has to do with a massacre in a “gay” nightclub is beyond my comprehension. Only the elitist intellect of the Anderson Coopers of the world, would somehow bring that up in relation to this tragedy.
a thriving gay nightclub
I hadnt realized that a night club could have a sexual preference. One learns something every day.

Lets not forget the police waited outside and did not enter to take down the shooter. A lot of people killed might well have survived if the police had done their jobs.
Anderson didn’t want to say what really caused this tragedy — islam.
Yes, I think you are right. The media seem to ignore or minimize, the “motivation” that the perpetrator has, when Islam is involved. Since he was Muslim, the media had to focus on other issues.
Yes, the brickwork in that club is just faaaaabulous!
Weren’t some of the victims female?
Has it only been two years? That event seems like a long, long time ago. Maybe because there have been several other shoot-outs since then. I expected for that building to have been torn down by now. With all the memories attached to it.
Same thing with the Columbine School. There is a recent proposal to in fact, tear the Columbine School Building down, because it’s starting to attract strange and dangerous people. The plan is to put up a new building on the other side of that campus. The cost would be about $70. Million.
IOW
how do you identify a strange and dangerous person by sight? what do you look for? Just being near a school where a shooting occured years ago makes them strange and dangerous? seems to me weirdo would be the worst most honest thing you could assume about people who go out of their way to see columbine. Are there guided tours available?.. /s. who the hell worrys about this stuff?? jez some people have waaay too much time on their hands
Ok, what ever.
There’s at least one woman from the group (I thought she was a bartender, but maybe I’m wrong). Some effort going on to make the site a ‘national monument’ (I assume with a statue or stone-setting).
Probably very young men showing up in dusters. After Columbine, for a while, I would see teenage boys dressed in this style of clothing. Always raised an alarm bell with me.
Young men need real fathers. someone to hang out with that isnt overloaded with estrogen. Someone who isn’t afraid to correct their bad behavior with a swift kick to the a$$ or show them how to blow off steam with hard work or some rough housing. idle hands do the devils work
The Columbine killers had real fathers. In the home, with good jobs, and they still were maniacs.
There are no atheists in foxholes.
my father was a boy scout leader with 40-50 scouts in our troop. not a one of them wound up kiiling anyone or wound up in jail.
I don’t recall the fathers of the boys saying they didn’t pay attention to their boys. One of the fathers has been vocal in his sorrow at his boy’s crimes, the other has been silent.
The words coming from a gay person after being shot while at a gay nightclub.
Sometimes Ya just can't make this stuff up...
