This isn’t about the schools but this is down right scary and you may want to warn parents about it.

This is very dangerous and disturbing. Amazon, Walmart and other big stores will just let it happen if they don’t get attacked for it on Twitter. Something tells me it would take much more than one single complaint before they decided to listen. The opposite of most conservative organizations, that tend to wilt under the slightest negative pressure.

Not school related but this is something that all parents should be aware of and be aware that the neighborhood kids and other acquaintances might be involved in.

Being outraged about it just made this a best seller

If nobody reported about it, it would never sell and nobody would have cared

My daughter used to manage the children’s department at a Barnes and Noble. She said she had some good ways to make offensive crap like this disappear on the shelves.

Hopefully others also know her tricks.

A review:

Leighton integrates a hands-on craft element into this playful guide that invites readers to conjure gentle demons by writing their sigils, which serve as “a phone number” straight to the spirit. The demons necessitate specific summons (a riddler named Corydon requires a sigil “drawn in bright red, the colour of a clown’s nose—preferably while you’re giggling”), and express specific characteristics and abilities that range from pragmatic to gross. They include “Flatulus,” whose talent is passing gas; “Quazitoro,” an expert at finding missing objects; and “Spanglox,” “the best-dressed demon in the underworld,” who offers cutting-edge fashion advice. Leighton’s renderings of the multieyed, multiarmed, sharp-toothed demons are outlandish without being creepy, and the creative concept will likely inspire some readers to create demons of their own. Ages 5–10. (July)

Contacting demons is easy - just write or email your local democrats. Just like other demons, once you contact them, it’s hard to make them go away. Bonus: Both groups of demons worship and serve the same master.

Two girls attempted to murder a friend (stabbed 19 times and left to die) claiming the internet crap legend “Slender Man” told them to.

No sense in encouraging such evil “play”.

“But do they come, when you do call to them?”

It has been gong on for decades. Remember SUN SIGNS? and other works from the 1970s talking on how to cast spells?

I remember the Lewis Meyer Bookshelf out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, in the 1970s and his daughter telling about a book on how to cast spells “and it really works!” she said.

Oscar showed some embarassment when she said that.

Back in those days any writer could make a living by writing books on how to cast spells and other witchcraft spells as he made them up in his mind.

First mention of witches in the Bible:

Exodus 22:18
Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.

As a general rule, I’m against “cruel and unusual punishments” but perhaps exceptions should be made for people like Aaron Leighton.

Bring back witch hunts.
