Not to get into theology here, but in Catholic doctrine there are venial sins, such as this, and mortal sins such as murder of ebb tide’s contemplated abortion. On the other hand, if it means that many venial sins make one mortal sin as a disposition(dispositive), then, as was shown above (a. 3), this is true, in accord with the two modes of disposition in which a venial sin disposes one toward a mortal sin. St Thomas Aquinas Summa Theologica.
