Yes, I think those are false stereotypes of Islam. And I am in complete agreement with the position that we should avoid false stereotypes. I may disagree with the Pope on what those happen to be, but there is room for diversity in the Church on such thing, and the Pope is free to read my tagline, which is a quote from someone that he canonized.
May God please shut the Francis up before he sows (further?) unnecessary seeds of confusion in the Church.
We have leftist anarchists and Marxists in the streets of the US.
We have a coup attempt against a sitting and duly elected American President.
We have a pandemic that shuts down commerce and sidelines one of the best US economic periods - and the pathogen originates in the biggest Communist nation in the world.
We have socialist radicals, like AOC and her squad friends, elected to the US Congress - out of specifically targeted districts.
We have revolt against the police, at the same time that leftist radicals are carrying guns and trying to become militarized.
We have the Pope of the Catholic Church embracing socialism/Communism and surrendering the sanctity of the Church.
We have Uber-wealthy individuals like Soros being allowed to fund radicalism around the globe.
And so much more.
And, all of this is launched during the successful Presidency of a man whose stated goal is to restore American economic and military strength, fight back against the growth of Communist China - particularly growth at the expense of the US, remove political power from non-elected bureaucrats, stop judicial activism, and to ensure adherence to our Constitution.
I personally think that the world left was in no great hurry, until the election of Trump. They saw reversal of things they thought were irreversible, and felt/feel that their grand plan is threatened.
