Have the Jewish End Times Begun?
BIN ^ | 7/1/2020 | Dan Sofer

The End Times, for many Christians, brings to mind the Rapture, Tribulation, the Second Coming, and Judgement Day. But what do Jewish traditions teach about the End Times? And are those traditions coming true before our eyes?

Jewish beliefs about the End Times are based on the Hebrew Bible (the Old Testament, especially the books of Ezekiel, Isaiah, Daniel, and Malachi) as well as later rabbinic sources in the Talmud and Midrash.

These traditions discuss key events that include:

– The Resurrection of the Dead – The Ingathering of the Exiles (including the “Ten Lost Tribes of Israel”) – The building of a Third Temple in Jerusalem – The reign of the Messiah-King descended from King David The relationship between these events and their timing are unclear, but a number of other factors will play a role.

Elijah the Prophet, the “harbinger of the Messiah,” is to return to anoint the Messiah. The period immediately preceding the Messiah’s return will be a time of great uncertainty and suffering. These “birth pangs of the Messiah” will include social upheavals. A great war will rage between mighty nations as described by Ezekiel in his prophecy of Gog and Magog. (Ezekiel 38) The end result will be a period of world peace (“The wolf shall dwell with the lamb…”—Isaiah 11:6) and, perhaps, eternal life.

The history is written in the Stars. That is how Wise Men knew the time and general place of Christs birth. If one is to interpret, you had better be correct though.

If you’re asking according to the Jews, why bring any New Testament in this thread at all?

I invite all non-Jews in this thread to come fulfill the prophesy of Zech 8:23 and grab the hem of my shirt— bring nine friends! Beg to learn Torah!

Let’s get past Catholic and Protestant. Let’s get to G-d. There are seven mitzvas (general commandments) for every man on earth. Now come let us learn.

Just be wary, if Joe Biden shows up, and starts reaching for your hem.

Actually, the scriptures says He was born on that day.
But that ‘day’ isn’t September 2017.

That ‘day’ is a day that has the first sliver crescent show.
The ‘Day’ is called the New Moon Day in the Bible.
And that ‘day’ is supposed to be set aside once a month, not just once a year, but it is hardly observed by Judeo Christianity these days. Although Islam seems to mark it more regularly.

And that sign shows up in the Fall today but a couple thousand years ago, it showed up in the summer.

So that sign detailing the birth of a manchild caught up to heaven is a birth sign.

And maybe most important,it happens nowhere near December 25, the traditional date used.
Important because the Bible can actually prove that doctrine of December 25 false.
And if it can do that, then 8 days later circumcision (Jan 1) is false.
And 40 days later presentation in temple (Feb 2) is false to the story too.

And if the church can’t seem to get His birth right, maybe it is lacking Truth with His death , burial and resurrection.

It’s remarkable the bible talks about new Moon Days and the book of Revelation details a New Moon Day,but it’s mostly Islam that acknowledges the day, although that sign can see to show up at Trumpets/Rosh Hashanah.

The prophet Ezekiel wasnt silent on that day when discussing the future temple.
Maybe the light will go on for Judeo Christianity when they tie the Holy Day that begins each of the Father’s months to the birth of the Word Made Flesh.
Thanks to a sign in His heavens detailed to His servant John.

And we can see on computers and tablets and smart phones.

Some other signs that are interesting are His 2 Fish that show up above our heads at Passover, certainly giving a witness to the feeding of the multitudes in the New Testament.
Of course the woman detailed in Revelation in the fall.

And a future where a man carrying a jar of water will show up at Passover- just like Mark and Luke detail.
And the Lion of the Tribe of Judah in the fall at that time.

The bible in the sky isn’t pagan. It’s Providence. Divine Providence.

“That’s why I led with Revelations”

It’s the book of Revelation. There is no “s” on the end.

That Prophecy of Zech 8:23 is future yet to be fulfilled.

If these current times we’re living in are as vexing to you as a Jew as they are to many Christians, then at least you’d agree that something is up.

LOL!

Hard to take you seriously.

Saul (Paul) is a perfect example of a hardened murderous heart who met GOD and fell before Him. As a matter of fact, he’s probably the one I look up to the most regarding the Apostles of Christ.

Every knee will bow - including you.

Psalm 2:12
Kiss the SON, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.

Doesn’t that just make your blood boil? I bet it does.

That might be the right way to look at it. Who knows? We can certainly know the season by discerning the times we’re living in. That’s a commandment that most fail to heed.

You’re fiesty today.

Yes, it’s a prophecy yet to come. I’m saying come make it reality and grab my tzitzit (fringes.)

These times are vexing and are in mainstream Torah-observant opinion, the Messiah is on the threshold of redeeming the world.

As Ravi Zacharias said (or was he quoting another?) Let the Messiah come and he can then ask, “Have you been here before?”

This is the crux. Christians feel they must preach the gospel. Fine. Jews are required by halacha to preach as well. There are seven actual commandments (Works!) appicable to all mankind:

Belief in a singular G-d (to the exclusiin of a trinity, G-d forbid)
Rejection of idol worship
Do not murder
Do not steal
Do not harm animals/cause unnecessary pain
Maintain proper family relationships (no-same-sex marriage)
Maintain a civil society with judges and police.

So hard? Our country at its inception was the best thing going (we had a good run)

There you have it. We all need to return to the G-d of Israel and all mankind in repentance.

Please, wise one, simply tell me how many gods and godlings I need to worship.
Do I kiss the Pope, too? His ring? His cheek?
By the way do you get your own planet? Can I be your slave there?
Or is that just the Mormons?
If I DO worship the proper people, can I go to heaven?
Can I take my horse, like Mohammed did?
Goodness! There must be an awful lot of paradises ruled by self-righteous people!
A decidedly un-Jewish idea - but of course, you, knowing more about Judaism than me, now that, too.

The formal clock on Daniels last 7 years will begin when the AC confirms the covenant with Israel.

correct. there is scripture after scripture that clearly shows we go with Jesus Christ at His return. there is no secret escape. God DOES say though that He will protect us during these difficult times.

Can’t say I agree with the feisty part. I’m just pointing out that most of Zechariah is future - like Zechariah 12:10. So glad you brought that book up.

Heck the whole chapter 12 is relevant to today’s world from the Jewish perspective.

Some of us crazy Christians actually care about you & your people. You might view Messianic Jews as a bizarre bunch. I can see your point actually, because I was once a worldly ‘christian in name only’ that never read the Bible. To me and most Christians however, they are living proof that Your God (My God also) keeps His Covenants and Promises and eventually a massive amount of your people will finally fulfill Zechariah 12:10.

My heart is very heavy about the time of Jacob’s trouble. It weighs me down. I really don’t think you get what is coming down the pipe post Ezekiel 38/39.

Keep up the seven mitzvos (noahide.org)
And to hasten the redemption, wish a Jew SHABBAT SHALOM right to his or her face. That shocks their soul into repentance.

Labor pains do not last '7 years' for a birth... Christ said Time was shortened... How long was Noah in the ark????

Not sure what that has to do with it. There are 7 years left in Israel’s time click starting with the confirmation of the covenant with the antiChrist. 3 1/2 years in the temple will be desecrated and the great tribulation
begins. Asa joes first 480 years were not shortened I do not see the last 7 changing either but we will know for sure very soon

Scripture is clear that the AC will not be revealed until the Holy Spirit is removed from the scene. How can the indwelling Holy Spirit be removed i less the Church is also removed? Once sealed with the Spirit we can not be separated.
