Dr.Greg Boyd founded Woodland Hills. He was a very popular professor when I was in college. I had him for one class in which he gave his testimony. I remember few of the details about his conversion to Christianity. At the time it seemed that half of his congregation were Bethel students. I attended once-I remember many details from his sermon on spiritual warfare and demonic possession even after all these years. He was a very dynamic and powerful speaker. The church grew rapidly.
In later years I saw that he slipped further and further from traditional church doctrine, and I believe his parting with Bethel College was not amicable.
No one changes like that without serious mental impairment or disorder. Sad and tumultuous future for her.
She looks like the big sister of the girl in the “crazy girlfriend” meme, including all of the crazy.
Something happened to Carrey over the years, I don’t think he was so bat-crazy in the early 90s.
Have low goals, it is easier to reach them!
The one in my #45?
Amen & Amen. False prophets all here; they will repent or burn. And they will be held accountable by God for the millions they’ve misled.
Personally I can’t wait. They’ve destroyed enough lives.
That’s her, all right.
Same question....asking for a friend...
Pretty sure that attitude was present in Eden. Nothing new to mankind. Rebellion since the beginning.
Who says she has changed?
The common thread running through all her statements is: she wanted to be the center of attention.
She accepted the pastor position because she would be on stage.
She started her OnlyFans account, so she could share herself with thousands of others.
I suspect she believes her stripping is 100% compatible with her religious beliefs, and always has.
No doubt she will have a tumultuous future, but not because she has changed, but because of what she has always been.
Bethel?
Are we talking about one of the mainline Bethel colleges in MN or KS?
Or, are we talking about the hyper-charismatic Bethel college in CA that runs a “school of the prophets” and “teaches” people to become modern prophets?
“A liberal friend in my church said “the church needs to change with the times.”
Well, here ya go. If homosexuality is OK, why isn’t stripping?”

Umm,”Why should contemporary churches follow commandments/laws (ie NOT “suggestions”) encapsulated in an ancient book (the Bible) whose author was God”?
Sorta brings to mind the scene from a kindergarten class, where the children were asked to vote whether a particular rabbit was a girl or a boy. When the vote was 57% that the rabbit was a girl, how impressed can you imagine the boy rabbit was?
Then, similarly, how impressed do you imagine the Creator is when folks “vote” to alter God’s word with their “opinions” as to what the commandments/laws should be?
Which leads to the question, “Why isn’t the folly just as ridiculous as when the kindergarteners voted the boy rabbit was a girl”?
The larger question should then be, why even bother wasting your time if you “want” to make it (the rules) up as you go? Might the label, “fool”, be appropriate for such adherents?
That about sums it up.
Renounced her faith but just cant give up preaching. Shades of Harry Markle.
They like to tickle the ear and promise prosperity if you just help them out each week or month. When your family is sick or in need or passes these tv preachers are not there for you, but if you have a local church family they will be there.
I don’t believe in woman pastors or deacons but with pastors God calls you, not the church, so I wonder how conservative this church and her family actually maybe. This girls family is heartbroken at her rejection of their family and it’s moral and religious choices. She may end up like the prodigals son and return from her wickedness at some point. Right now she is an in an apostate existence and rejects God for the world. The one who prowls the earth will gladly welcome her to his side, for a non-refundable price.
I have a relative who attends the “modern” first baptist church in our small town. This church went hard left back in the 1980’s with women deacons and pastors, liberal doctrine exploded. They were kicked out of the local baptist association because their church resembled a Unitarian church and was nothing like a baptist church.
My wife was a member when this happened and her Mom and grandma didn’t like the changes but refused to give up their church because of these liberal changes. Her grandma told the pastor he maybe an educated man of the world but where the Bible was concerned he was a fool, but as she said I am too old to quit it now. When the church assigned a female deacon to my wife, who was a teenager at the time she told the pastor I cannot go along with you or your teachings, they are not of the Bible but of the world and she left it.
Now my wife’s Mom is still at this church and it’s been dying for decades. An enrollment of several hundred is now down to probably 50-60 maybe, they are having trouble making their bills and their services are like funerals and a socializing event. Their current pastor is a BLM supporter against the police but yet shows up at the police department first thing for a donation from the officers whenever he has a cause. The local police department has noted his rhetoric against them and have told him where to go and how to get there.
I did find it funny after all the leftist bilge this church has accepted and promoted that when gay marriage was legalized their youth choir director married her girlfriend and they were having a baby and the congregation was in a tizzy. I was asked by a member and I said why are you all of a sudden concerned about something being right or wrong, you haven’t cared about right or wrong for 40 years, why start now, which quickly ended that discussion.
We need a recruitment drive, then....
I was a reader for a few years. Major studio stuff. I am glad I got out. I hope Steve Martin is okay, I worried about him.
