Years ago, after Vatican II was forced into Catholics, the pastor left the priesthood for his first love - racing trotters. He then married a lapsed nun.
His successor was even worse. He openly mocked traditional Catholic beliefs. His final sermon was in support of prostitution. He finally admitted to being a Communist and left the Church.
At that point, I left the parish before the rest of the liberal priests got their chance.
That's why all their arguments and every thing they do keeps moving toward absurdity.

I have not been able to watch it again. In a way, kind of like the Naked Gun movies with OJ Simpson.
I went to a wrap party for the movie “Me, Myself, and Irene” and he was at it. I didn’t talk to him, because I am not generally into the celebrity thing, but he seemed normal there. (we were vacationing in Vermont, and they shot a lot of the movie in Vermont when my brother in law who had worked on the movie invited us)
I can’t even look at the guy now. I do believe he is mentally ill, apart from being a Lefty...
