There is no one organization that is considered the one true church.
The church is made up of individuals. Those individuals will come from several different organizations, and some from no organization at all.
Membership is not a prerequisite.

The main verses of scripture that support this that I know of are Matthew 24: 21,22 and Revelation 9 :5.
Power was given to the anti Christ to continue for 42 months but for the Elects sake those days were shortened to a 5 month period as prophesied by Jesus . Otherwise there would be no flesh saved.

How does it contradict this scripture? 2 Thess 2:3 Regarding our gathering back to Christ it won’t happen until after the falling away and the Son of Perdition (anti Christ) be revealed.

The more losers there are beating the rapture drum, the less credibility the Gospel has in the wider world, and the worse things become for my children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Didn't Jesus say He was going to leave us with a denomination led by an infallible man (like Peter)? I know He said He was going to leave us with something, I just can't remember what it was. He probably went to Mass every Sunday as well. Wore silk robes and a silver crucifix. Sold indulgences. Him and Pope Francis would probably agree on a lot of things like how Climate Change is the most important thing. Salvation has to be on the list . . . somewhere.
Hence, this whole being under judgment thing. Obviously not that simple to a lot of people. How do we get or show people the path to simplicity (Because its not happening now)?

In the original koine Greek The Departure is what Paul wrote and the 'apostasia' can mean departing from the faith OR departing as in a ship disappearing over the horizon. When Jesus comes in the first Heaven to gather us to Himself, we will first be transformed to be like Him (1 John 3:2) so that we see Him as He is now. That transforming causes us to disappear from 4D spacetime in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye, and join the dead in Christ who have received their new glorified bodies as they rise to meet Jesus in the air.
In Judaism the first Heaven is the atmosphere and space surrounding our planet. Jesus is coming from the Third Heaven -the Throne Room of God- to the first Heaven and gathering us up into that first Heaven to meet Him and return to the Father's House (John14)
This not the second coming, for Jesus in His glorified body and we rising transformed beings are not visible to the world nor is He up in the air visible to the 4D earthdwellers. BUT at the Second coming every eye shall see Him!
Someone had written a letter to the Thessalonians claiming the attacks they were suffering was a sign of the Day of the Lord, thus deceiving them. Paul warned to not be deceived for the Day of the lord cannot come unless the day of Christ comes first and the wicked one be revealed. How is the wicked one revealed? The Restrainer in believers is taken out of the way in the Day of Christ's appearing for His Bride.
THAT would be an hilarious parody if it were not so cogent to our day!
One wonders how many dimensions there are. Cosmologist Carl Sagan famously mused about where Jesus would be, travelling at the speed of light towards the outer reaches of the Milky Way. Of course God is where ever and when ever He wants be. And in the transformation, we shall become like him. IOW, the restraints we have placed on us in this life are unleashed. In the next life Death, Time and Space would have no meaning. God is so far above our comprehension that I get a headache trying.
